God does not owe you an explanation. And that is not cruelty, it is mercy. If He explained everything, faith would die from overexposure.
I have begged for answers that never came. I thought silence meant I was forgotten. I tore apart prayers looking for meaning, but all I found was quiet. Maybe heaven was whispering something louder than words ever could.
“Be still, and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10)
This verse is not soft. It is not about calm beaches or scented candles. It is a command shouted over chaos. Stop dissecting the pain and start trusting the One who holds it.
Maybe the silence is not punishment. Maybe it is protection. Sometimes God hides His reasons so your faith can learn to see in the dark.
Understanding will not heal you. Trust will. When God stops explaining, He is not leaving you in the dark. He is teaching you to see by faith. And maybe that is enough, to rest in what you cannot explain but still believe.
Reflection Question: Are you seeking peace through answers, or through the One who is the answer?
The silence speaks loud,
Not with words, but with His hand,
Stillness forms my faith.
