Scripture Anchor
“But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8, ESV).
Reflection
We live in a world that tells us to prove ourselves before we belong. Get your life together. Earn your place. Show your worth. But Jesus flips that upside down. He says, “Come as you are.” He is not waiting for you to clean up your past before He calls you.
Jesus came into the world as God in the flesh, not to point fingers from a distance, but to draw near to broken, tired, ordinary people. He carried our sin to the cross and rose from the dead so that hope would be stronger than shame, and life would be stronger than death.
And here is the beauty: He does not just forgive. He transforms. Grace is not a blanket to cover sin so we can stay the same. Grace is power. It makes us new.
Application
Maybe you have been wondering where to start. Start here:
- Pray honestly. Tell Jesus what is really in your heart.
- Open the Word. Begin with the Gospel of John.
- Step into community. Church is not a gathering of perfect people, it is a family of sinners who need the same Savior.
Remember, you are not there for the gossip or the noise. You are there for Jesus. Keep your eyes on Him.
Closing Thought
If you have been feeling the weight of searching for something more, this is the moment. Jesus is inviting you, not into religion, but into relationship. He is not far from you. He is right here.
